We appraised this hospital for the taxpayer in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania for ad valorem tax purposes. This property ended up in several years of litigation over the assessment. This hospital is located in Overland Park, Johnson County, Kansas. ASG was hired to appraise the real estate for a tax appeal before the Kansas Board of Tax Appeals.  After our appraisal was presented to the County, the case was settled saving the taxpayer almost $700,000.

Clinch Valley Medical Center for Like-Kind Exchange Transaction

This appraisal was for a like-kind exchange transaction between our Client and another hospital operator. The property is located in Richlands, Tazewell County, Virginia on roughly 8 acres with 166,000 square feet and 200 licensed beds.
